Welcome to Chamara Tours. By accessing or using our website www.chamaratours.com and our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking any tour or service through our website.
1. General Information
Chamara Tours is a licensed tour operator based in Sri Lanka, offering travel and transport services, including day tours, airport transfers, hotel bookings, and customized tour packages.
By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
2. Booking and Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
To confirm a booking, a deposit or full payment may be required as specified during the reservation process.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, online payment gateways, or cash (for local bookings).
The balance amount (if applicable) must be settled before or on the day of the tour.
Prices are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) or US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp.
Refunds depend on the time of cancellation before the tour date:
More than 7 days: Full refund minus administrative fees.
3–7 days: 50% refund.
Less than 3 days or No-show: No refund.
In case of unavoidable circumstances (weather, natural disasters, government restrictions), Chamara Tours reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a tour. A full refund or alternative arrangement will be provided.
4. Changes to Bookings
Requests for date changes or modifications must be made at least 48 hours before the tour. Chamara Tours will make every effort to accommodate changes, subject to availability.
5. Travel Documents and Insurance
Guests are responsible for ensuring they carry valid travel documents, visas, and insurance. Chamara Tours is not liable for any losses due to missing documents or lack of insurance coverage.
6. Health, Safety, and Conduct
Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by tour guides or drivers.
Chamara Tours reserves the right to refuse service to anyone under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or behaving in a disruptive or unsafe manner.
Personal belongings are the responsibility of guests. Chamara Tours is not liable for loss or damage to personal items during the tour.
7. Liability Disclaimer
Chamara Tours acts as a tour operator and booking agent for hotels, transport providers, and other service partners. While we take every care to ensure your safety and satisfaction, we are not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or inconvenience caused by third parties or events beyond our control.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and videos, is the property of Chamara Tours or its content providers. Reproduction, modification, or distribution without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
